EXHIBITION TITLE: Convergence: DAC Annual Member Exhibit

RECEPTION: Friday, November 27 from 5–7 PM | open to the public
NUMBER OF ARTWORKS: Up to 3 pieces may be submitted for consideration
ARTWORK DELIVERY: November 18 – 21 during gallery hours or by appointment.
ARTWORK REMOVAL: January 8 during gallery hours or by appointment
EXHIBIT OVERVIEW
Convergence brings together the work of DAC’s Visual Artist Members — artists who shape, inspire, and sustain our ever-evolving creative community. From those who built DAC’s foundation, to those who lead through creativity, to those exploring self-expression with curiosity, this exhibit reflects the depth, range, and dedication that define DAC.
On view November 27 through December 31.
Opening Reception: Friday, November 27, 5–7 PM.
Free and open to the public. Artists, family, and friends are warmly invited to attend.
ELIGIBILITY
Convergence is open exclusively to DAC’s Visual Artists. All mediums are accepted. Artwork must have been created within the past two years and not previously exhibited at DAC. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces for consideration. Final selections will be made based on available space and overall exhibition layout. There is no theme. At least one piece from each participating artist will be included in the exhibit.
SUBMISSION, PRESENTATION & ONLINE EXHIBITION REQUIREMENTS
Submissions must be completed using the Artwork Inventory Form, available below and on the DAC website under FOR ARTISTS (online form preferred; printable version available).The Artwork Inventory Form includes the following information for each submission: Title, Medium, Substrate, Size, Price, and an Artwork Image.
Presentation:

2D work must be suitably framed and wired for hanging. No clip hangers.

Work on paper must be under glass or Plexiglas.

Artist’s name and artwork title must be clearly labeled on the back (business card preferred).

Note any specific presentation or installation needs on the form.
Online Exhibition:
An image of each submitted work is required for online exhibition. Upload the image through the online Artwork Inventory Form or email it to [email protected] if using the printed form.
Image guidelines:
- JPG format, 72–110 dpi recommended
- Please crop out frames when possible
- File naming format: ArtistName_Title.jpg
- If no image is submitted, we will assume you do not wish for your work to appear online.
ARTWORK DELIVERY, PICK UP & INSTALLATION
Artists will deliver and pick up artwork according to the Exhibit Timeline. Artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit and may not be removed without permission. Only the gallery team is authorized to move or adjust artwork and displays.
PROMOTION
DAC promotes exhibits through press releases, social media, email newsletters, our website, and printed materials.
The gallery provides standard promotional support for all exhibitions. Any additional marketing materials, reception costs or expenses beyond our usual offerings must be discussed with the Gallery Team in advance.
REPRODUCTION
DAC reserves the right to photograph artwork for promotional use across digital and print platforms.
SALES & COMMISSION

Standard Commission: 60% Artist / 40% DAC

DAC Members: 70% Artist / 30% DAC

DAC Founding Members: 75% Artist / 25% DAC

Commissioned Work: DAC retains 15%

Payment: Artists will be paid by the 15th of the following month for any sales. DAC adds 8% sales tax to all artwork sales.
LIABILITY
DAC does not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to any work while on site, or during pick-up. Work is entered at the artist’s risk, although DAC takes every precaution to safeguard entries. Artwork must be picked up within 30 days of the scheduled removal date. After 30 days, unclaimed Artwork becomes the property of Downtown Artist Cellar.

Submitting the Artwork Inventory Form confirms that I have read and acknowledge all conditions outlined in this DAC Exhibition Prospectus.
