Where Art Creates Community
Established in 2017, Downtown Artist Cellar (DAC) continues to evolve as an artist-led creative space rooted in the belief that art creates community.
DAC supports artists and creatives across disciplines, including visual, literary, performing, student, and wellness practices. Through our galleries, Artisan Shop, and year-round programming, artists have opportunities to share their work, reach new audiences, teach and mentor others, make connections, and contribute to a growing creative community.
Each artist brings their own voice, practice, and perspective. Together, we build a place where art and artists are valued and supported.
Through Artists & DAC, participating artists receive a presence in the Artist Directory on our website, reduced entry fees for select exhibitions and calls, and reduced commission rates on artwork sold through DAC, including the Artisan Shop.
Artists may become part of Artists & DAC at any time, choosing the opportunities that fit their individual practice. Participation follows the calendar year, January through December, regardless of when an artist begins.
Artists & DAC contributions help sustain opportunities for artists and creative programming in our community. If cost is a concern, please reach out—we want participation to remain accessible.
