SELECTION & AWARDS JUROR: SARAH KNOBEL
Sarah Knobel is an artist whose work explores the concept of commodities and their existence beyond mere utility. Through photography and video, she creates liminal spaces that invite viewers to consider the complex and often contradictory relationships we have with everyday objects and waste. Her work navigates the tension between optimism and hostility, beauty and repulsion, and examines the collision between the natural world and opposing forces.
Her work has been exhibited nationally and internationally. She holds an MFA from the Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning program at the University of Cincinnati and currently lives in upstate New York near the Canadian border, where the surrounding landscape continues to influence her work.
ARTWORK DELIVERY, PICK UP & INSTALLATION
Artists will deliver and pick up artwork according to the exhibition timeline. Artwork must remain on display for the duration of the exhibit and may not be removed without permission. Only the gallery team is authorized to move or adjust artwork and displays.
