ABOUT THE ARTIST
Anne is a retired physical education teacher who spent 33 years in the Malone Central School System. After retiring in 2000, she began taking art workshops, studying with accomplished artists and discovering a passion she had not fully explored before. What began as humble first attempts gradually evolved into a dedicated and rewarding artistic practice. Working primarily in pastel, Anne continues to challenge herself and grow. Two of her paintings, accepted in different years, were selected for the Adirondack Pastel Society National Show — an honor she considers among her greatest achievements. Her work reflects a deep interest in the environment and encourages reflection and appreciation for the natural world.
