About the Artist
Nancy Brossard is a plein air oil painter based in Lake Clear, NY. Working in a vibrant, impressionistic style, she is inspired by the quiet beauty of the natural world, especially landscapes that feature water — from luminous water lilies to the winding views along the Whiteface Memorial Highway. She also finds inspiration in barns, open fields, and city scenes, capturing each with expressive color and lively brushwork. Nancy’s work has been shown at the Adirondack Artists’ Guild in Saranac Lake, Gallery 46 in Lake Placid, and the Downtown Artist Cellar in Malone, with recent highlights including a two-person exhibition at LPCA and a Second Place award in its Annual Juried Show.
